Weissbrot
Also Known As: Kastenweissbrot
Weissbrot (white bread) is bread made from finely ground wheat flour. It can be free-formed, shaped into an oval without the use of a bread loaf pan. Or it can be baked in a loaf pan - this bread is then called a Kastenweissbrot.

Because of its mild taste, Weissbrot goes particularly well with a little butter and honey or jam. It also goes well with spreadable or sliced cheese. Weissbrot is great toasted!
