Bratäpfel mit Schokolade
(Baked Apples with Chocolate)
4 large Apples
2 oz Chocolate, shavings
2 tablespoons Orange Marmalade
2 teaspoons chopped Hazelnuts
Butter
Preheat oven to 375°F.
Wash and core the apples. Place apples in a greased casserole dish and bake for 20-30 minutes.
Combine 1/2 of the chocolate shavings, the orange marmalade, and the chopped nuts. Fill the apples with this mixture. Brush the apples with melted butter. Put back in the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
Remove apples from the oven. Sprinkle the remaining chocolate over the hot apples and allow chocolate to melt. Serve immediately.
