Limburger Käsetöpfchen   (Limburger Cheese Bowls / Cheesespread)

7 Tablespoons Butter (room temperature, soft)
7 Tablespoons Quark
2 Tablespoons Sour Cream
7 oz (200g) Limburger Cheese (about 3/4 cup)
2 Tablespoons chopped Chives
Black Pepper
Salt

Add the butter to a bowl and mix until creamy. Mix in the quark and sour cream. Cut the Limburger Cheese into pieces then mash with a fork. Add the chives and Limburger Cheese to the butter mixture and mix until creamy and combined. Season with salt and pepper. Fill small stoneware bowls with cheese mixture, cover, then refrigerate.

Remove from the refrigerator 30 minutes before serving. Goes well with a dark bread, such as Pumpernickel Bread.
