The Osterlamm is a traditional Easter cake and is the centerpiece at the Easter breakfast table. It is made from a cake batter (Rührteig) then baked in a cake pan in the form of a lamb. It is decorated with powdered sugar.

Main Ingredients
Butter, sugar, vanilla sugar, eggs, flour, powdered sugar (for decoration)

Serving Suggestions
Serve the Osterlamm for Easter breakfast or brunch. It also goes very well with an afternoon tea or coffee break.
