Butterbrot with Limburger Cheese 8 slices of bread (such as a mixed Wheat/Rye Bread)
8 oz (1/2 lb) Limburger Cheese
Paprika Powder
Black Pepper
Caraway Seeds
Butter
In a small mixing bowl, mash the Limburger Cheese with a fork. Add an equal amount of butter and mix into the cheese until smooth. Add paprika, caraway seeds, and black pepper according to taste. Spread butter on each slice of bread. On top of the butter, spread some cheese mixture on each slice of bread. Goes well with a glass of beer.
