Frankfurter Hawaii Toast 4 Frankfurters
4 slices pineapple
1/3 cup white wine
4 slices Emmentaler or Swiss cheese
Curry Powder
4 slices toast
Butter
Cut the frankfurters and pineapple into chunks. Put onto skewers, alternating frankfurter and pineapple pieces. Place the skewers on a cookie sheet. Drizzle each skewer with a little white wine, season each skewer with curry powder, then cover each skewer with a slice of cheese. Bake (or broil) until the cheese is melted and starts to brown. Remove the skewers from the oven. Butter each slice of toast. Gently push off the frankfurter and pineapple pieces from each skewer onto a slice of toast.
