Yeast Dumplings
Also Known As: Germknödel
Yeast dumplings are large dumplings made from a yeast dough and filled with cooked plums. They are cooked in boiling milk or water. They are served warm and topped with either melted butter or a vanilla sauce. Additional toppings include poppy seeds and powdered sugar.
