Eingelegter Limburger Käse (2)
(Marinated Limburger Cheese #2)
7 oz (200g) Limburger Cheese (about 3/4 cup)
3 Tablespoons Olive Oil
1 Tablespoon Vinegar
3 Tablespoons Water
1 Small Red Onion, Raw (cut into rings)
1/2 Teaspoon Dill (finely chopped)
1 Tablespoon Parsley (finely chopped)
1 Tablespoon Basil (finely chopped)
Fresh ground pepper
In a bowl, mix olive oil, herbs, water, onions, and vinegar. Season with pepper. Cut the Limburger Chese into slices 1/4 inch thick. Place the Limburger Cheese slices into the oil mixture and make sure that each cheese slice is coated with the oil mixture.
Cover and let cheese marinate in the refrigerator overnight.
Serve with hot, boiled potatoes.
